1. Purpose of the Service

Navighiamo Insieme aims to promote initiatives, events, and activities related to sailing and the sea, organized by boat owners, skippers, sailing instructors, and other operators in the sector (hereinafter also “partners”), who wish to publicize and share their nautical offerings.

Partners are selected based on experience, expertise, and professional quality and sign a collaboration agreement with the website owner, committing to provide their services according to the required methods, timelines, and professional diligence.

2. Content and Information Published

The information published on the Navighiamo Insieme website concerns:

• sailing programs,

• itineraries and sailing experiences,

• events organized on board partner vessels,

• sometimes supported by services provided by third parties.

Information requests submitted by users through the website are managed directly by Navighiamo Insieme, which processes them and forwards them to the relevant partner, i.e., the organizer of the experience selected by the user.

3. Partners

Navighiamo Insieme partners may include:

• private boat owners (possibly with a professional skipper assigned),

• sailing schools,

• sailing sports associations (ASD – SSD),

• social cooperatives,

• sailing companies.

Partners acting as skippers, guides, or instructors hold the required boating license and all qualifications mandated by current regulations for the activities offered.

4. Participation and Contract

Acceptance of participation requests for sailing initiatives is the exclusive responsibility of the direct organizer (partner) and depends on the availability of onboard spaces or, in the case of an exclusive request, the entire vessel.

The participation process is considered completed once all necessary steps have been fulfilled, including:

• registration of participant data,

• payment of the participation fee.

The participation confirmation is sent to the user via official email.
The contract between the organizer and the participant is delivered directly on board, at the time of boarding, by the partner or a designated representative.

5. Costs and Fees

The end user does not pay any commission to Navighiamo Insieme.
The participation fee published on the website is the official fee set by the organizer of the sailing initiative, without any markup.

The fee for the services provided by Navighiamo Insieme is paid directly by the partners and does not constitute an additional cost for the user.

6. Payment Terms

At the time of requesting participation, the user may be required to pay a deposit to confirm their presence on board.

The payment terms and conditions applied are those established by the individual partner organizer and are communicated to the user in the acceptance email sent by Navighiamo Insieme upon completion of the process.

7. Cancellations, Changes, and Withdrawals

Depending on weather and sea conditions, the organizer may modify the sailing program, informing the entire crew to ensure safety and a successful experience.

In case of suspension or cancellation of the experience by the organizer due to:

• inability to sail,

• adverse weather conditions,

• health reasons or extraordinary events,

the amount paid will be frozen and may be used for a new date to be agreed upon, subject to availability.

If departure is prevented due to vessel malfunctions, the boat may, if possible, be replaced with a vessel of similar characteristics. Otherwise, the experience will be canceled and the fee refunded.

For withdrawals by the user or suspensions by the organizer, the Terms and Conditions of the individual partner apply, taking into account force majeure and notice periods.

If departure is prevented due to not reaching the minimum number of participants, Navighiamo Insieme will, up to a few days before the scheduled date, attempt to find alternative solutions, such as combining crews on a similar vessel. In case of a boat replacement, the user may accept the new proposal or withdraw, requesting a refund of the fee paid.

8. Insurance

Vessels promoted through the Navighiamo Insieme website are covered by insurance as required by law.

Sailing initiatives do not include travel insurance or similar coverage. Users may optionally purchase additional insurance policies through operators in the sector.

9. Liability

In case of total or partial non-fulfillment of the service, or service disruptions, the direct organizer of the experience (partner) is responsible, except where it can be demonstrated that the event resulted from an accident, force majeure, or unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances.

Participants are required to behave correctly and respectfully on board. Any damages caused by negligence or improper conduct will be the participant’s responsibility.

Navighiamo Insieme, as the promoter of the published initiatives, is exempt from direct liability. However, in case of disputes, it acts as a point of contact to facilitate an amicable resolution between the parties. If mediation is insufficient, the parties may use an independent institutional conciliation service.

10. Final Provisions

These General Terms are intended to supplement, not replace, the terms and conditions applied by individual partner organizers.

Using the Navighiamo Insieme website constitutes full acceptance of these General Terms and the Terms of Use herein.
